They Care

They Care aims to spotlight organizations that genuinely care about making a difference. The goal is to highlight these organizations and community supporters who positively impact our community. It’s important to acknowledge that there are good people and organizations worldwide.

This community partnership is not about giving people a platform for recognition but rather showcasing individuals who are caught in the act of doing good. They Care is dedicated to bringing visibility to organizations, philanthropists, community supporters, and ministries that are doing notable things in the world.

They Care serves as a platform for our young people to participate in community benefit missions, teaching them the value of helping others and the importance of giving back. They Care collaborates in numerous events to provide housing and food and to organize youth and young adults to participate in these community benefit events, giving them a hands-on opportunity to help.

This unique partnership with other organizations and community supporters should inspire our young people, motivate them to pursue their own aspirations and encourage them to continue participating in these supportive ventures. The focus is not just on philanthropy but also on empowering the next generation to make a difference.

From Hood 2 Neighborhood: Mission Statement

We are “From Hood 2 Neighborhood,” a movement dedicated to empowering youth and young adults to bring about positive change and community improvement. Our mission is to organize events and initiatives that foster growth, unity, and transformation within neighborhoods, enabling the youth to lead and inspire their communities.

We aim to transform the "hood" mentality of self-serving behaviors into a "neighborhood" mentality focused on unity and togetherness. This shift promotes camaraderie, peace, love, conflict resolution, and synergy.

Executive Director Derrick Mann

Pastor Derrick Mann, a seasoned music producer and digital media content creator, has
a rich history of developing programs for youth and young adults across the San
Francisco Bay Area over the past three decades. His contributions include creating
templates for organizations like Youth Uprising (Project YES), media programs for
YMCA Oakland, and various after-school programs.
Pastor Mann has governed and operated several music studios and facilities that have
served as empowering spaces for young people. Notably, he managed an 8,500 sq. ft.
facility in Oakland for over a decade from the early 90s to the mid-2000s.
This industry plaza was well-equipped with ten recording studios, a full-scale printing
press, a t-shirt press, a sound stage, an event center with three stages, a deck featuring
a waterfall with rocks, and a beach setting adorned with two 15-foot palm trees. It also
housed a Graphics Company, film and editing suites with green and blue screens,
rehearsal halls, and more.
The production house was frequently utilized by renowned artists such as Jay King
(Club Nuevo), Dewayne Wiggins (Tony-Toni-Tone), Suga T. (E-40 and the Click), and
Money B (Digital Underground), to name a few.
In addition to his contributions to the music and media industry, Pastor Mann has led
numerous cause-related projects addressing issues that impact young people, including
violence, food insecurity, and workforce development.

Our primary mission is to eradicate hunger. We are committed to providing immediate
food aid to those in need worldwide, while simultaneously working on sustainable
solutions for long-term nourishment. Our goal is to foster a global community united by
the shared belief in this vision.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a collaborative platform that will help our children and young adults. We bring together organizations, charities, philanthropists, clergy, governments, and concerned citizens to address the pressing issue of food insecurity.

Living Water Outreach Services (LWOS), based in Northern California, is a collective movement involving individuals from various backgrounds and professions. Our goal is to inspire and enable people to make meaningful contributions through financial aid, goods, skills, time, or prayers. This united effort focuses on providing impactful support to those experiencing extreme poverty in the world's most underprivileged communities.

We are committed to combating global hunger by providing meals to families. Challenges we address include civil unrest, uprisings, crop and food supply destruction, and the lack of self-sufficiency. We also prioritize teaching gardening skills to empower individuals to grow their food. We believe everyone plays a crucial role in the fight against hunger. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the world.
